These pieces were made from large fuel tanks. They stand about six feet tall and are created to illuminate the garden.
This last piece is about 24" tall, cut from an old water tank.
We have been cutting up old steel drums and recycling the metal into masks and other things. Here is a sampling.

Working with artist Harold Balazs from Mead, Washington, we built this stainless steel wave form in honor of the passing of our dear friend and artist Patrick Flammia, a lover of the sea and sailing. The sculpture was placed on the grounds of North Idaho College in 2007.
The teak bench was built by Allen and Harold at the same time, with a support of welded junk steel. Harold built the bronze sketch book which sits atop the bench, a remembrance of Patrick and his love of drawing.
